A myth of predestination, duality, and a group of kids playing a game.
Welcome to a story of paradoxes.
In a universe removed from relevance, a group of kids begins to play a game. With this beginning comes the ending of their world as meteors decimate the planet and the players are transported to the unreality of paradox space. Sburb has prepared for them an epic narrative of strife and personal growth as they each play a critical role to slowly make their way to the creation of a new universe.
In the Incipisphere, the players’ planets form a ring around the light of their game, Skaia. Though they may be physically separated, the gods-to-be are in constant communication through game terminals, their lives in each others’ hands. The longer they forge through the challenges of their personal quests, the closer and more adept they become. This is Sburb’s grooming of the godlings. Throughout their quests, they develop as people as they explore the strange world which they have so abruptly been cast into. These quests, though promised as rewarding, are often perilous and may lead to the deaths of numerous players. These players go on to god-tier, their powers augmented, their immortality secured.
They toil on, visiting each others’ lands and discovering the secrets of Sburb until the Incipisphere boils over with conflict and the new gods claim their prize: a newly hatched universe. What they make of this new beginning is entirely up to the gods, as is the future of the world as we think we know it...
